A young, energetic and creative arts collective based in Groningen, The Netherlands. Our drive is to raise awareness in society among (young)adults around difficult themes and taboos such as bullying, growing up, ‘fitting in’, the importance of memories and mental health issues through performing arts. The basis of all our productions is the use of personal experiences combined with scientific research on the topic.
In our new audio experience, “One More Lullaby”, we question how the relationship between our parent(s) and us changes when we grow up. Through music, spoken word and poetic fragments, we take the listener on our personal journey: growing older yourself, and seeing your parents grow older as well.
With our productions, we try to achieve awareness in society around certain themes and taboos. Previously, we discussed themes such as bullying, group-pressure and violence. Our third production, ‘Meet me in Montauk’ (adaptation of the film ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’) dealt with the importance of memories en ‘real’ human connection. ‘Labyrinth of Lines’ addressed the stigma on mental health and disorders. And in our 2020s ‘About Sophia’ production, we wanted conquer the concept of individuality and identity. Due to Corona, ‘About Sophia’ was sadly cancelled in October 2020.
